Our Story
Our boys spend most of their days outdoors—running, climbing, exploring, and coming home sweaty.
Living in the Netherlands, where rainy days and cooler weather are part of everyday life,
we were always looking for clothing that could keep them comfortable through changing temperatures.
That search led us to merino wool.
Soft, breathable, and naturally temperature-regulating,
it helped keep them comfortable after active days outdoors and through cooler nights.
Combined with organic cotton, it quickly became a fabric we reached for again and again.
After using it for our own family, we decided to create Slowhug.
Made to be worn often, washed often, and passed on to siblings, cousins, or friends when outgrown.
