What is the difference between merino wool and regular wool?
Merino wool has finer, softer fibres than many regular wools. It is naturally breathable and helps manage moisture, helping little ones stay comfortable through changing temperatures.
What does “superfine merino wool” mean?
We chose 18.5-micron superfine merino wool for its exceptionally soft feel. Fine fibres are gentler against delicate skin, while still giving the natural comfort and breathability merino is loved for.
What is TOG?
TOG measures how much warmth a sleeping bag provides: the higher the number, the warmer it is. Instead of a TOG rating, we recommend Everyday Hug for room temperatures between 17–24°C. Always adjust the layers underneath to the room temperature and check your little one for comfort.
What materials do you use?
Everyday Hug is made with two natural layers: 100% superfine Australian merino wool inside and 100% organic cotton outside.
Are the materials certified?
Our sleeping bags are made by production partners who hold Woolmark, OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certifications. We only work with factories that meet these standards for material quality and safety.

Do the sleep sleeping bag run true to size?
Our sleepwear is slightly more spacious than regular clothing to allow for comfort while sleeping. We recommend choosing your child’s usual size.

These temperature ranges are intended as a general guide. Every baby is different, and comfort can vary depending on what is worn underneath the sleeping bag.
For cooler nights, layering a long-sleeve bodysuit or sleepwear underneath can help create a warmer and more comfortable sleep environment. Merino wool naturally helps regulate body temperature, keeping babies warm when it is cool while remaining breathable when temperatures rise.
What should babies wear under the sleep bag?
Depending on the room temperature, babies can wear a short or long-sleeve bodysuit underneath. Layering helps adjust warmth while keeping your baby comfortable.
Care Instructions
How should I wash merino wool?
Merino wool is naturally durable but should be treated gently. We recommend washing on a wool or delicate cycle using a mild wool detergent.

Can the sleep bag be machine washed?
Yes. Wash on a wool cycle at 30°C or below using a wool-specific detergent. Gentle washing helps maintain the softness and longevity of the merino fibres.

Can they be tumble dried?
No. We recommend laying the garment flat to dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying, as heat can damage natural wool fibres.
